By visiting scholway.com ("Site") or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to the terms, please do not use the Site.

2. Service Description

Scholway is an information platform for students who want to pursue a master's degree abroad, offering university discovery, application tracking, and guide content. Program and university information on the platform is for informational purposes only; you must consult the relevant university's own website for official applications.

3. Account Creation

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must not share your account with others.

4. Prohibited Use

The following behaviors are prohibited:

• Use for illegal purposes
• Attempts to disrupt or bypass platform security
• Data collection through automated bots or scrapers
• Sharing content that violates others' rights
• Spam or misleading content

5. Content Disclaimer

Program information on the platform is compiled from universities' official websites and may change. While Scholway makes reasonable efforts to maintain accuracy, we cannot be held responsible for possible errors. Please verify information with the relevant university before making any application.

5A. Tanıdık and Consulting Services

• Scholway Tanıdık is an intermediary service that lets you request sessions with people studying or having studied abroad; Tanıdıks are independent individuals, not Scholway employees.
• Information shared by Tanıdıks reflects personal experience and does not constitute official, legal, or immigration advice.
• Session requests are subject to the Tanıdık's approval; contact details are not shared until the session is confirmed.
• For paid sessions, payment is collected via a secure payment provider after approval. If the session does not take place, the fee is refunded; refund requests go to [email protected].
• The service is in beta; features and conditions may change.

5B. Scholway Yıldız (Premium Membership)

• Yıldız is a paid membership offering an ad-free experience and extra features; current scope and pricing are published on the Yıldız page.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no refunds are issued for time already used (statutory rights remain unaffected).
• Price changes are announced to existing subscribers in advance.

6. Advertising

Our platform may display advertisements through Google AdSense to sustain services. Clicking on ads incurs no additional cost to you. Ad content is determined by Google.

7. Intellectual Property

All original content, design, and software on the Site belongs to Scholway. Copying, reproducing, or distributing content without permission is prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

Scholway cannot be held liable for interruptions in platform access, data loss, or consequences of decisions made based on platform information. The platform is provided "as is."

8A. Third-Party Links

The Site links to official university pages and other external resources. Scholway is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these sites.

8B. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, with notice or immediately for serious violations of these terms. You may close your account at any time by writing to [email protected]; upon closure your data is deleted in line with the retention rules in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated by email. Continued acceptance of the terms means you agree to the changes.

9A. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Istanbul (Çağlayan) courts and enforcement offices have jurisdiction over disputes. Users qualifying as consumers retain the right to apply to consumer arbitration boards and consumer courts at their place of residence.
